The BECO Teflon Filter has been designed to fulfill the special requirements of inline micro filtration for sensitive medias. All contact surfaces are constructed so that nothing but Teflon comes into contact with the media being filtered. The Disc Filter utilizes replaceable Zitex* filter elements which form a continuous mat of Teflon fibers. These fibers are fused together to form a screenlike membrane structure. The resultant membrane is hydrophobic, hence aqueous suspensions must be filtered at high rates to overcome surface tension. Because of the non-stick characteristics of Teflon, the natural lubricity of all wetted surfaces, and the easy replacement of filter elements, entrapped contaminates may be easily removed.

Manufactured with Certified 100% Virgin PTFE (no metallic components)
 • Designed for use with filters for high temperature (to 190C @ 45psi) acids and chemicals.
 • Industry Proven Seal design prevents leaks between cap and body during heat cycling and high temperature use.
 • Non-Scoring Removable Top Cap: Filter Cartridge can be changed without damaging o-rings. (No particles generated by the cap twisting into the filter housing body)
 • Design of housing body helps to prevent o-ring from losing its seal. (Seal is between filtered and unfiltered fluid)

• Built in pulsation dampener eliminates the need for external dampener, absorbs hammering and pulsation of incoming fluid to help prevent particles dislodging from the filter.
